What we collect

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand which pages are read and which links are clicked. These tools set cookies and collect device and usage information (pages visited, approximate location from IP, browser type). We use this in aggregate; we do not build individual profiles.

Outbound click logs. When you click a merchant link, we record the product, merchant, and timestamp so we can attribute commissions and understand which comparisons are useful. These logs are not tied to your name or email.

Affiliate networks and their cookies

Outbound product links route through affiliate networks — primarily Commission Junction (CJ) and Awin. When you click one, the network sets its own cookie on the merchant’s site so a later purchase can be attributed to us. Those cookies are governed by the networks’ own privacy policies: CJ privacy policy and Awin privacy policy. We never see your payment details, and merchants do not share who you are with us — only that an anonymous click converted.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not run third-party ad networks. We do not collect email addresses or operate a newsletter. We do not collect payment information — purchases happen entirely on merchants’ own sites.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Our analytics and outbound click logs are not tied to your name or email, so we may not be able to connect an anonymous event to you. You can also block analytics cookies in your browser or with tools like the Google Analytics opt-out add-on; the site works fully without them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We keep the history in our public code repository, so changes are verifiable.
